Gilbert Key started Key Packing Company in 1976 with only fifteen dollars in his pocket and the desire to operate a quality business to serve farmers in the community. With the help of his wife, Elizabeth, the company has grown over the years. Currently, Key Packing Company is operated by three generations of Keys.
Key Packing Company is a family owned and operated meat packing company located in Robbins, North Carolina. We work with independent farmers to custom slaughter, cut, and package their beef and pork. Key Packing Company is NCDA inspected.
We also run a retail outlet store that offers quality custom cuts of beef, pork, and chicken. Homemade sausage, smoked sausage, beef jerky, and hoop cheese are some of our specialty products offered in the store.
